Designers are mixing the old world charm of claw foot baths, once used only in federation terraces, and installing them into hip apartments thanks to a Sydney-based company.

Boutique Baths supply fully restored baths or restore clients own baths to custom made specifications.

Their restoration process involves shot blasting the original bathtub to bare cast iron, removing any previous resurfacing material & rust. The bath is checked extensively for any faults and repaired if necessary. Primers & Filling agents are applied to smooth out imperfections always found in genuine antique baths. Multiple layers of Synthetic Porcelain are applied to the bath in the de3sired colours. The bath is then backed to complete the curing process.
